Connect Struvia to your AI.Two minutes. One URL.
Paste this URL into ChatGPT or Claude, sign in to Struvia, and your assistant can read your jobs, build takeoffs, and export estimates — with a confirmation prompt on every write.
Struvia connector URL
https://struvia.co/api/mcp/mcpPaste the URL
One HTTPS endpoint into your AI platform. No install, no download.
Sign in once
OAuth connects your Struvia account — the AI never sees your password.
You approve writes
Reads are automatic; every create / change / send / export asks first.
For ChatGPT
Works on Pro, Business, Enterprise, and Edu plans. Full write actions are in beta on Business/Enterprise/Edu; Pro can read and fetch.
Set it up yourself (Pro or admin)
- 1
Turn on Developer mode
In ChatGPT, open Settings → Security and login and turn on Developer mode. (On a Business/Enterprise workspace, your admin enables it first under Workspace Settings → Permissions & Roles → Connected Data.)
- 2
Create the connection
Go to Settings → Apps → Create. Give it a name (e.g. Struvia), pick Public HTTPS endpoint as the connection type, and paste the connector URL above. Click Create / Scan Tools.
- 3
Sign in to Struvia
When prompted, complete the Struvia sign-in / consent screen. ChatGPT then scans the tools and lists everything Struvia can do.
- 4
Use it in a chat
Open a new chat, click the + button by the composer → Connectors → turn on Struvia. Then just ask. Writes (create, update, send, export) always ask for your confirmation first.
On a Business / Enterprise workspace? Your admin does it once.
- An admin turns on Developer mode at Workspace Settings → Permissions & Roles → Connected Data.
- The admin creates the Struvia app (Settings → Apps → Create), pastes the URL, and publishes it.
- It appears in the workspace's approved connectors. Members just toggle it on in a chat — no URL, no setup.
Note: ChatGPT MCP apps are web-only and aren't used by Agent mode. Deep Research can use them for reads, not writes.
For Claude
Works on Free, Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise. Free plans can add one custom connector.
Set it up yourself (Free / Pro / Max)
- 1
Open Connectors
Go to claude.ai/settings/connectors (or Customize → Connectors) and click Add custom connector.
- 2
Paste the URL
Paste the connector URL above and click Add. Claude reaches out to Struvia, reads the OAuth metadata, and registers the connector.
- 3
Sign in to Struvia
Approve the Struvia consent screen. The connector is now listed and ready. (Free plans can add one custom connector; Pro/Max have more.)
- 4
Turn it on in a chat
In any conversation, click the + button at the lower-left of the chat input → Connectors → toggle Struvia on. Then ask away.
On a Team or Enterprise plan? An owner adds it once for everyone.
- An owner adds Struvia once at Organization settings → Connectors → Add → Custom → Web, pastes the URL.
- Members go to Customize → Connectors, find the "Custom"-labeled Struvia connector, and click Connect.
- Everyone inherits it — no per-person URL, no per-person setup.
Once you're connected
Copy this into a new chat to kick the tires. Swap in your own job name.
Starter prompt
I'm connected to Struvia. Here's what I need:
1. List my jobs (job.list) so I can pick the right one.
2. For the job I name, summarize the plans and any existing takeoff.
3. Build or update the Bill of Quantities, then export it as a CSV (export.boq_csv).
Before you create, change, or send anything, show me what you're about to do and wait for my OK.What asks for confirmation
Creating a job, updating a takeoff, sending a bid package, exporting a file — the AI shows you a preview and waits for your OK before anything is written or sent.
You can revoke anytime
Disconnect from your AI platform's connectors settings, or in Struvia under Settings → Connected AI apps. Access stops immediately.
